Growing up in the Kansas City area, I was always drawn to the beauty industry. I graduated from esthetician school at a time when few understood the role of estheticians or the services we offered. Over the years, I have witnessed the evolution of our field, and my extensive and varied experience allows me to stand out among the many talented estheticians today.

My career began in luxury spas throughout the Midwest, where I honed my skills. However, my heart was captured by the Pacific Northwest during visits to friends over 20 years ago. I relocated to the Seattle area, where I pursued further education as a medical assistant to deepen my understanding of the medical aspects of esthetics. I had the privilege of working alongside a plastic surgeon, assisting in facial plastic surgeries and performing skin treatments and laser procedures. This role enriched my expertise over the three years I spent there.
After leaving Seattle, I moved to Portland, where I worked as a medical assistant and spa manager for an allergist. This position broadened my experience even further, allowing me to specialize in various laser treatments and intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy while gaining insights into allergens and their effects on the skin.

I also have significant experience working with clients during and post-cancer treatment, having completed a specialized oncology course for estheticians. This training equips me to guide clients with a history of cancer in their skincare journeys. I collaborate closely with local dermatologists and a medical director to ensure comprehensive care for any skin concerns outside my expertise.
When I’m not immersed in my passion for skincare or pursuing continuing education, I enjoy reading, cooking, exploring new restaurants, and creating art. I have a love for comedy, dancing, and connecting with people to understand their unique stories. My pet hedgehogs also bring endless joy and entertainment to my life.
